1. a) KOALA - Koalas are very cuddly animals. The colour of their body is usually grey with a white chest. They look sleepy.
b) DINGO - Dingo is like a domestic dog but not completely. He has usually white points on the feet and yellow - brown coloured body. One of his features are erect ears.
c) RAINBOW LORIKEET - They are very noisy birds. They are a type of perrots. These colourful birds have got all colours of the rainbow on their bodies: orange, blue, dull blue, ruby red, lemon yellow, purple, violet greenish grey.
d) AUSTRALIAN PELICANS - They are big birds with a very large wingspan. They are white in colour with black markings on their tail. Their bill and very large bill pouches are pink. They 've got the longest bill of all the types of pelicans in the world.
e) CROCODILES - The salt water croc is the bigest reptile in the world. Its average length is about 4 meters. The colour of its skin is mainly greyish brown with brown and yellow sides. He has cone shaped teeth and clear eyelids which enable him to see underwater.
2. DIDGERIDOO - It is an Aboriginal musical instrument.It's a long wooden flute, parhaps the oldest musical instrument on Earth. It is used for playing the sounds such as trees creaking, wather running, etc.
3. SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE - This buliding was designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzom in August 1973. It is located in the centre of Sydney, across from The Sydney Harbour Bridge near The Darling Harbour.
4. THE GREAT BARRIER REEF - It is an Australian area which contains over 900 beautiful islands and some of the world's best beaches and diving spots.
5. ULURU (AYERS ROCK) - It is the Aboriginal name for large rock formation located close to the exact centre of Australia. Uluru is a famous place because it has an unusual feature, and that is, the rock changes its colour. It is actually grey, although it appears red. The colour depends on the time of day, temperature and the weather. This place is very important for Aboriginal people and their religion. They ask people to respect their culture and the law and not climb on Uluru.
6. KAKADU - It is a National Park in the Northern Territory of Australia, 171 km southeast of Darwin.
